MenWalkTalk

MenWalkTalk is a registered UK charity dedicated to reducing isolation and preventing suicide by creating safe spaces for men to connect. We run volunteer-led walk-and-talk groups across the country, offering men an informal, stigma-free environment to build friendships, talk openly, and support one another. Our work is rooted in lived experience — our founder and volunteers bring authenticity, trust, and relatability to every walk. Alongside our walks, we raise awareness through campaigns, blogs, and events, encouraging conversations about men’s wellbeing in communities where silence too often prevails.

In addition to our walks, we train and support volunteer walk-leaders, provide signposting to mental health services, and work with local partners to strengthen community resilience. We are building a growing movement of men who not only find support for themselves but also step into leadership roles to support others. Our vision is a future where no man feels alone in his struggles, and fewer lives are lost to suicide.

We are joining the Zero Suicide Alliance because we believe in the power of collaboration to prevent suicide. By aligning with ZSA, we can connect our grassroots, community-based work with a national movement, amplifying our impact and learning from others across sectors. Membership allows us to stand with organisations that share our conviction that suicide is preventable, and to contribute our voice and lived experience to the national effort.

MenWalkTalk pledges to continue raising awareness of men’s mental health, providing safe and accessible opportunities for connection, and encouraging conversations that can save lives. We are committed to breaking down stigma, equipping volunteers with the tools they need to support others, and building stronger, healthier communities where fewer men feel isolated or driven to crisis.
