March training impact update

In March, our suicide prevention training was taken 13,393 times, bringing the total number of completions to 3,038,062. Every completion represents another person equipped with the confidence, language and practical tools to have a potentially life‑saving conversation.

What continues to stand out is not just the scale of participation, but the depth of impact reflected in learner feedback. People describe feeling more prepared, more confident, and more able to notice when someone might be struggling.

Across personal, professional and community settings, learners tell us the training is helping them:

  • Recognise warning signs earlier
  • Ask direct, compassionate questions
  • Reduce stigma by talking openly about suicide
  • Support colleagues, customers, friends and family
  • Feel more confident in what to notice, say and do

The blend of real stories, practical scenarios and simple frameworks like SEE, SAY, SIGNPOST continues to resonate strongly. Many learners describe the training as ‘essential’, ‘eye‑opening’, and ‘confidence‑building’.
