YANA works to improve mental health and prevent suicide amongst those involved in agriculture and rural businesses in East Anglia through:
- Providing a confidential helpline and funded counselling Investing in mental health training
- Building understanding of mental health
- Distributing a national suicide prevention resource called 7 Tractor Facts to Save a Life
We promote the ZSA training available in our newsletters and with everyone we train as Mental Health First Aiders, with our volunteers, and staff. We believe that being united through a membership with ZSA and its members can help to create a bigger impact and having access to your up to date information will help us with our work.
YANA pledges to continue to deliver and develop its work to support people in crisis and educate people about suicide awareness.
